Oh hey,
I’m Kelsi (she/her), and I am a dedicated mental health therapist specializing in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), EMDR intensives, and disordered eating therapy. With a focus on adults, I provide both in-person and online sessions tailored to meet individual needs.
My approach integrates innovative techniques and strategies, combining evidence-based practices with a compassionate understanding of each client's unique journey. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. The therapeutic relationship, to me, is the single most important factor in determining success in therapy.
I am passionate about helping individuals reclaim their mental health and well-being. Whether you are seeking relief from trauma, navigating the complexities of disordered eating, or simply looking to enhance your personal growth, I am here to support you every step of the way. Together, we can work towards achieving your goals and fostering resilience, healing, and inner strength.
I’m also:
Outside of the therapy session, I’m a millennial trying just as hard as the next to find their place in the world. My personal beliefs and values create the lens in which I view the world around me. I value authenticity, vulnerability, and inclusivity. I've volunteered for health equity initiatives throughout my career and make it a priority and focus in my daily life, both personally and professionally. I'm, to a fault, sarcastic and (try to be) funny. I'm a nerd, and have no shame in identifying a good streaming binge as my most effective coping skill (I did not say healthiest, mind you). I am as much a work in progress as my clients are, and I bring my authentic self to my sessions. I believe you should Always Carry A Book, but I'll also carry my Kindle like a security blanket. Speaking of blankets, I'm known to hyperfixate on crochet from time to time or really any other craft that keeps my ADHD mind and hands busy. I enjoy fresh air as much as the next PNW resident, and find my calm happy place at the coast.
